Women in Politics
One Issue that is becoming prevalent in the world of politics is that women are being underrepresented in politics according to the Huffington Post. The article states that most women find it difficult to become involved with politics because their family is too dependent on them, especially the women with kids under the age of 7. This doesn't sound like some sort of generalization or stereotype against women since it's true that women have a lot more problems than men which I won't go into, but let's say pregnancy for example. Pregnancy requires a lot of time and a stress free environment. In fact, Most women that were surveyed said that family was an issue for them when it came to giving a lot of their time to a field like politics. On the other hand, I could care less because I think that politicians are snakes that get over paid, slander other politicians, then get looked up to because everyone thinks that their performing a noble act. No one thinks about being a politician when their seven and just got asked "what would your dream job be."
Now that that's been said I'm thinking that this is a good thing, we should keep as many people out of politics as possible.
