La poesia de comida
Oda a la pollo
The morning alarm echoes to your ear.
La manana alarma llamas a te oreja
Dropping white pearls while scanning it’s surroundings.
Caersendo perlas blancas mientras mirando a la alredeores.
Choosy as it thrusts and scratches at the dry ground.
Exigente como empuja y rasca a la tierra.
Writhing to struggle free while viewing the world upside down.
Contorsionando a lucha liberado mientras mirando el mundo
Running aimlessly without it’s head.
Corriendo sin rumbo sin es cabeza.

For this project, we made food poems in Spanish and English, Chose a South American recipe to present in Spanish and English and make the actual food to present on exhibition day. It was a slow process, especially since we had to translate everything we wrote from English into Spanish.
I made Ajiaco, which is a Columbian soup with chicken, vegetables and occasionally corn however I didn't include corn in mine.
